Sunday Worship Services

We are open to in-person worship once again. We invite you to join us every Sunday at 10am at 1008 Dakota Street in St. Vital. As we continue to ease our way out of the COVID-19 pandemic, we are committed to following government guidelines and recommendations. We plan to meet in-person while still being cautious for the sake of the vulnerable in our community. We are also mindful that we all have different comfort levels, and we strive to respect each other by showing understanding and consideration. We continue to be grateful that we can gather freely, knowing that many others cannot.

If you are unable to join us in person, we would love for you to join us live online. If you are using Zoom from your computer, you can follow this link: https://zoom.us/j/2049631774. The Meeting ID is: 204-963-1774. The Password is: 1008. Lastly, you can also find more video recordings on our YouTube Channel.

What to Expect

Our worship service starts at 10am and usually last about an hour. See the events calendar for details. Many people come early and stay after the service to fellowship with each other. We usually have Sunday School for kids and adults every second Sunday after our worship service. We also host intergenerational events for fellowship and community building. We would love to have you join in!

Our worship service is open to all ages and backgrounds. Our style is casual and people usually dress in what they are comfortable in. Our music is a blend of contemporary songs and traditional hymns. We have people of all ages lead us in music with a variety of instruments. Children are encouraged to be a part of the Sunday service and a nursery is available for children under 3.

A typical worship service includes congregational music, a children’s feature, scripture reading, a sermon, congregational sharing, and prayer. Our worship leader guides us with calls to worship, benedictions, and prayer. We celebrate communion about six times per year. We have many other special elements in our worship services guided by life events and the church calendar.

COVID Considerations

We would love it if we could be all together, but we know not everyone feels comfortable with being in-person yet. If you are feeling healthy and have not been exposed to COVID-19 (see screening questions below), we invite you to join us.

Our church council strongly encourages everyone to continue wearing masks when sharing the same space. We also encourage good hygiene and social distancing. Please respect each other’s space and monitor your own risk levels. We will have hand sanitizer and masks available and would encourage you to bring your own from home if you have.

Please contact our office if you have any other questions or concerns.
